NEWCASTLE Falcons provided a perfect riposte to any question marks over the impact of cancelled games on their form as they edged out Harlequins with late call-up Brett Connon scoring a penalty kick at the death.
Quins, who have made their title aspirations clear after a return to form in recent weeks, will be furious with themselves as a mix of slow line speed in the first half and late illdiscipline saw the win slip through their fingers.
