WASPS are ready to confirm that former All Black Lima Sopoaga is leaving the club after three years and moving to Lyon in France.
Sopoaga has agreed a deal with Lyon after they failed to lure Marcus Smith away from Harlequins before he signed a new deal to remain in south west London.
The Stormers in South Africa were also interested in Sopoaga, who has been linked with several French clubs over the last couple of years.
But he has now agreed to sign for Lyon, who are losing Jonathan Wisniewski to retirement at the end of the current Top 14 campaign.
