EXETER CHIEFS Women are interested in bringing England centre Emily Scarratt to the West Country for the next Premier 15’s campaign.
The Chiefs need to add English players to their squad because a change to the rules means they can field only two overseas players.
They currently have five Americans and one Japanese player in their squad, so need to invest in homegrown talent.
World Cup winner Scarratt, a teacher who plays for Loughborough Lightning, is one of the big-name players they would like to sign.
