RFU cutbacks could halt Cornish production line

CORNWALL’S renowned production line is in danger of grinding to a halt amid swingeing RFU cutbacks, according to one of the Duchy’s community coaches recently made redundant.
Neil Smith was among 100 community coaches axed as part of RFU costcutting in August, leaving Cornwall, with its population of 500,000, without any dedicated rugby support after two other colleagues were axed or reallocated to Devon.
