Gatland closes door on Howley’s Lions tour

ROB Howley’s chances of making a fourth tour as the British & Irish Lions attack coach alongside Warren Gatland were all but ruled out this week as the head coach talked about his coaching team for the 2021 tour of South Africa.
Gatland said that selecting Howley, who has served a nine-month ban for breaching betting rules after being sent home from the Wales camp during the 2019 World Cup, would be problematic from all sides.
