BRENDON BALE is a man on a mission. Keen to break the stigma associated with athletes who follow a plantbased diet, he has set up the Green Gazelles, the world’s first all-vegan rugby Sevens team.
The Gazelles are out to prove that changing diet can have a positive impact on health, recovery and performance.
Bale, 29, who represented Salisbury RFC as well as turning out for the Combined Forces at Twickenham, is keen to field invitational Gazelles teams in tournaments around the world.
