BARNES raised almost £150k in their Big Lift challenge to aid NHS charities.
The National Two South club honoured the passing of Garry Garrett, father of 1st XV hooker Jack, by setting club members and the rugby community a challenge of dead-lifting one million kilograms last Saturday.
Backing from England stars Jamie George, Joe Marler and George Ford helped blow the target of £10,000 out of the water.
