Six Nations fixtures announced for 2020 and 2021

The organisers of the Six Nations have released the fixtures for the Men’s 2020 and 2021 championships, with opening their campaign next year in Paris while welcome .

Details of the next two tournaments follow an epic finish in and London at the weekend, as Wales were crowned 2019 Six Nations Grand Slam champions and fought back to retain the Calcutta Cup in a 38-38 classic with England.

In 2020, England follow their round 1 match at the Stade de with fixtures against Scotland (away), (home), Wales (home) and Italy (away).

‘s first campaign after succeeding Warren Gatland as head coach will see Wales travel to play Ireland in round 2, followed by France (home), England (away) and Scotland (home).

The next two Six Nations championships will not see any fixture played on Friday night.

Commenting on the announcement, Six Nations CEO, Ben Morel said : “We’ve got exciting plans for the future of the , and this announcement is a key building block.

“The 2019 gave us a stunning finale with three teams competing for the title on the final weekend, a brilliant Grand Slam winner, and a unique Calcutta Cup match to finish the Championship off.”
