AFTER Yorkshire Carnegie’s financial problems and the visa difficulties that led to his sudden departure from Ealing Trailfinders this week, Elijah Niko is a man used to picking himself off the canvas.
But hopefully the 29-yearold won’t experience that feeling when he takes to the boxing ring later this year in aid of a good cause.
Niko has agreed to compete in a charity fund-raising boxing event, Rugby League Rumble, in aid of stricken Rugby League stars Rob Burrow and Mose Masoe, at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, on October 30.
