Schmidt regrets loss of focus

JOE Schmidt regrets Ireland’s planning for the World Cup becoming a “self-consuming monster” which contributed to a loss of form in the build-up.
Ireland’s campaign ended again at the quarterfinals stage with a 46-14 defeat by New Zealand.
