DISAFFECTED former Yorkshire Carnegie players have yet to receive a penny from the club’s Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA), The Rugby Paper can reveal.
Having had their contracts for 2019/20 terminated because of the club’s inability to meet its liabilities, the players are waiting to receive part-payment (15 pence in the pound) of their debt – collectively £700,000 – under the terms of the CVA which were approved by creditors on June 28 and further ratified by the RFU on August 9.
