FORMER European Player of the Year Steffon Armitage has signed with the San Diego Legion for next season, the Major League Rugby (MLR) club announced on Tuesday as top names look to North America as a career option.
Armitage, who made five appearances for England and played more than 300 professional matches in England and France, winning three European Cups, will join the Legion for preseason training in December and said he hoped to add another trophy to his resume.
