SCUNTHORPE clinched the title – but they made their supporters sweat during a tense final-day 17- 16 triumph at Broadstreet. The leaders came flying out of the traps as Colin Chapman struck inside two minutes before his side scored two more tries in quick succession.
Sam Morgan ran through several tackles to score and Jacob Hardy went over to give Scunthorpe a 17-0 lead.
But Street refused to roll over as Brett Daynes crossed, before Cliffie Hodgson landed a conversion and a penalty to close the gap to 17-10 at half-time.
