PADDY Jackson is in talks with a number of clubs about a possible move away from Perpignan if, as expected, the Catalan club are relegated from the Top 14 at the end of the season.
Fly-half Jackson, 27, has a release clause in his two-year contract which allows him to leave if they go down to ProD2. After 11 straight defeats they are 11 points adrift at the bottom of the table.
Lyon are interested and Declan Kidney’s London Irish are understood to be keen. Kidney gave Jackson his Ireland debut when he drafted him in to play Scotland in the 2013 Six Nations.
