SPEEDSTER Ruaridh McConnochie says he would never have been able to live with himself had he not given 15s a crack at Bath.
In three-and-a-half years with England Sevens and Team GB, the 27-year-old flyer travelled the world and earned podium finishes at the Rio Olympics and this year’s Commonwealth Games and World Cup.
However, when Bath came calling this summer McConnochie took on the challenge despite never playing 15s at senior level – and has risen to the task brilliantly in the league and last week’s Champions Cup tie with Leinster.
