GEORGIA’S World Cup preparations have been boosted by the appointment of former England prop Graham Rowntree as their forwards coach ahead of next year’s tournament in Japan.
The 47-year-old recently left his role at Premiership club Harlequins citing personal reasons, and now joins Milton Haig’s coaching team.
Rowntree’s appointment is a major coup for Georgia as they gear up for their World Cup campaign opener against Wales on 23 September 2019 under Kiwi head coach Haig.
