LUKE Hamilton has revealed that he has been a target for social media abuse after swapping his Welsh heritage for a new life in Scotland.
Hamilton was born in Pembroke and represented Wales at Under-20 level, but now plays his club rugby with Edinburgh and has won three senior Scotland caps.
The 26-year-old qualifies for Gregor Townsend’s men through his father and made his Scotland debut last November in a thrilling 22-17 defeat to New Zealand.
