Euro bosses aiming for Transatlantic exposure

EUROPEAN rugby bosses have revealed they plan to take future Champions Cup and Challenge Cup matches to the USA in a bid to broaden their competition’s appeal.
Both finals were staged in Bilbao last term while this season’s showcase event will take place in Newcastle.
It remains likely America will be the next frontier with EPCR chief executive Vincent Gaillard keen to explore what he believes is a big appetite for European rugby in the USA.
