I’VE READ with interest the plans to tinker with rugby’s calendar from 2020 on and I must say I’m absolutely in favour of anything that makes our game both more competitive and entertaining.
A new global season sounds a little daunting on the face of it, but everything points to it being a success so long as the international and club sectors can come to an agreement.
