THE DRAGONS got their season off to a horror start with a shocking home loss to Benetton.
After a poor showing last term which only yielded three league wins Bernard Jackman promised a far better showing this campaign.
But they were hopelessly outplayed by a Benetton side superior in every aspect of play.
A brace of tries from Alessandro Zanni and a try from Braam Steyn plus four points from the boot of Tommaso Allan was enough to secure the Italians their second successive win in Newport.
