We’re through: Namibia celebrate their RWC spot
NAMIBIA, for the sixth time in succession, booked their place at the World Cup Finals in Japan by wrapping up the African qualifying tournament with a 53-28 win over Kenya in Windhoek yesterday.
The Namibians will be in Pool B where they will line up against New Zealand, South Africa, Italy and the winner of this November’s repechage tournament in Marseilles. That could still conceivably be Kenya who must now travel to France for that tournament when they will take on Canada, Hong Kong and Germany.
