ENGLAND Saxons wing Alex Lewington has been challenged to increase his workload to break into the Saracens first team.
With Sean Maitland and Liam Williams in situ, plus David Strettle returning, Lewington is hoping his own attacking talents will allow him to go toe-to-toe with the internationals. Lewington said: “It’s about being in the game as many times as possible, whether attack or defence, always being an option. The coaches have put a real emphasis on it and I’ve been trying to work on to give myself as many opportunities as possible.”
