Knoyle out to put eight years of pain behind him

TAVIS Knoyle has felt the pain of injury more than most, but now the former Wales scrum-half is determined to prove he can still cut it at the highest level.
The 28-year-old has had eight operations in eight years and when he tore knee ligaments in the Dragons’ first game of last season, he contemplated retirement.
Knoyle’s latest spell on the sidelines saw him use the time to set up a gym in Neath, but returning to the field is now his priority.
