HOLLYWOOD came to Kirkby Lonsdale RUFC this week with filming starting in the small Lake District town for the new Dr Dolittle movie.
Just short of 400 cast and production crew – plus assorted animals – have made the Northern Premier club their home for the next three weeks.
Taking the lead role in The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle is Robert Downey Jr, who discovers that he can talk to animals. Other cast members include Antonio Banderas, Michael Sheen and Jim Broadbent.
