Uruguay pushing for inaugural South American Super League

AN eight team professional club league has been mooted in South America with a start date as early as next year. One of the strongest proponents and driving force is the Uruguayan Union president Sebastián Piñeyrúa who outlined the proposal earlier this week with the league comprising teams from Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Chile.
