Canucks record breaker forced to call time

AARON Carpenter confirmed his retirement from rugby, bowing out on medical grounds following a series of head injuries. The 34-year-old Doncater Knights lock collected 80 caps for Canada, surpassing Al Charron to become the most-capped Canadian international in history this summer.
Carpenter made 16 appearances for Doncaster after signing from London Welsh in January last year.
