Russians lay in wait for Continental pool winners

NEXTmonth’s European rugby is not just be confined to clubs competing in the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup with the Continental Shield also kicking off.
Four representatives from the Italian Eccellenza – Pataro Rugby Calvisano, Femi-CZ Rugby Rovigo, Rugby Petrarca and Rugby Viadana – as well as Romania’s Timisoara Saracens, RC Batumi from Georgia, Heidelberger RK of Germany and Portugal’s Centro Desportivo Universitario de Lisboa (CDUL Rugby), will compete in two pools of four with both silverware and valuable places in the Challenge Cup up for grabs.
