LONDON Irish lock Josh McNally is too tall to the fly the fighter jets he services as a corporal in the RAF. However, the determined 26-year-old is soaring in the Premiership just nine months after fearing his pro rugby career was over.
Northolt-based airman McNally, right, looked to be plummeting towards rugby’s scrapheap last December when, having forged a promising career in the Championship with London Welsh, he was told the club was folding and considered resuming his day job.
