ALL Blacks star Ben Smith is set for a sabbatical following next month’s back-to-back Bledisloe Cup Tests against the Wallabies.
Smith will stand down from duty after the Tests in Sydney and Dunedin.
The Highlanders fullback had originally planned to begin his sabbatical after the Super Rugby season but Smith decided to make himself available for the first two games of the Rugby Championship having missed a lot of the season with injury and concussion.
