Hunter leads women in their World Cup defence

SARAH Hunter will captain England’s title defence at the World Cup in Dublin on August 9. Rachael Burford,
Rochelle Clark, Tamara Taylor and Danielle Waterman all head to their fourth World Cup, having played in each event since 2006.
England, drawn in Pool B alongside Spain, Italy and USA, go into the competition ranked number one in the world after recent victories over New Zealand, Australia and Canada.
Head coach Simon Middleton said: “We have an incredibly strong squad and our focus has always been on going to Ireland to win the World Cup.”
