SKILLS coach Bruce Reihana reckons Bristol can follow the example of his old club Northampton by turning demotion into a positive.
Ten years ago, Reihana was a member of the Saints side that suffered the humiliation of relegation but with the benefit of hindsight, he reckons dropping down was a price worth paying.
Reihana, who joins after three years coaching at Bordeaux, said: “Northampton deserved to go down. Things weren’t right, with players or coaches, and we needed to rebuild – same as Bristol.
