CONTRACT renegade Carl Fearns says securing his family’s future outweighed all other considerations once it became apparent that Top 14 outfit Lyon were willing to break the bank to retain his services.
Powerful No.8 Fearns, 28, had eyes on a future with England when he signed for Gloucester last November – a deal reputed to be worth £320,000-a-year.
