Gray quits rugby for American adventure

ALEX Gray has decided to turn his back on Rugby Union to pursue a career in American Football after joining the Atlanta Falcons as part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway scheme.
Former England U20s captain and No.8 Gray, 26, represented Newcastle, London Irish and Yorkshire Carnegie, and was named in the extended Great Britain Sevens squad for last year’s Olympics until injury ended his hopes.
