A THREE-TRY blitz at the start of the second half ensured London Irish will return to the Premiership after seeing off Yorkshire Carnegie.
Having won the first leg 29-18, the Exiles went into the home leg at the Madejski on Wednesday high on confidence and took under a minute to register the first try through Ciaran Hearn. However, Carnegie were still in the fight at half-time trailing only 22-20 after tries from Seb Stegmann and Mike Mayhew.
