Hill predicts more in Tier 2 will adopt part-time model

RICHMOND director of rugby Steve Hill believes it is inevitable that more clubs will adopt their part-time model in the Championship next year following the decision to scrap the play-offs.
With heavily-financed Bristol dropping back into English rugby’s second tier, some Championship chairman have decided there is no point throwing good money after bad in what will effectively be a onehorse race for promotion.
