EDDIE JONES says Anthony Watson could be the long-term successor to Mike Brown at full-back – if he sorts his kicking game out and becomes more vocal. Watson, 23, is Bath’s first choice full-back but all 26 of his England appearances under Stuart Lancaster and now Jones have come on the wing.
Brown has dominated the full-back position in recent years, but will be 34 at the next World Cup and Watson, Elliot Daly, Jack Nowell and Mike Haley are some of the leading candidates to replace him.
