NEWCASTLE prop Sam Lockwood has backed Gary Graham to shine among the Premiership’s big-hitters.
Like Lockwood the year before him, Scottish flanker Graham, below, caught the eye of Dan Richards while playing for Jersey in the Championship and has signed for the Falcons for next season.
“Me and Gary are really good mates so it was great news when I found out he was coming up here especially knowing what quality he is,” said Lockwood, who turned 29 yesterday.
