SALE director of rugby Steve Diamond pleaded guilty to abusing a match official and has been given a six-week touchline ban. The incident came after the Anglo-Welsh Cup game with Harlequins on February 3.
Diamond, 49, will serve three weeks of the suspension immediately, with the remaining three weeks suspended until the end of the 2018-19 season.
He was also fined £3,000, half of which is suspended until 2019.
