Harlequins today announced that Samoan International hooker Ellia Ellia has committed his future to the club.
Elia joined Harlequins on a short-term deal in December 2016 and the following month extended his time with the club to the end of last season.
The 21-year-old former Crusaders development player made his Samoa debut against France last year and has represented his country three times.
Elia has also been included in Samoa’s squad for their international matches this summer.
Elia said: “It’s a privilege and an honour to be able to re-sign with such a historic club as Harlequins. I feel that in my short time with the Club I’ve come on a lot as a player and can further my development with the right support network here at Harlequins.”
Harlequins’ Director of Rugby, John Kingston added: “Elia showed in his short time at Harlequins last year that he is a talented young player. I am very pleased that he has signed a new contract to add further competition for places at hooker.”
