Perry Humphreys stays at Sixways

Perry Humphreys has committed his future to by signing a new deal with the club.
After joining Worcester’s academy in 2014, Humphreys was handed his debut on the wing against in the .
Humphreys was an ever-present for the Worcester Cavaliers in the 2014/15 season that went on to reach the in the Aviva A League.
The wing continued his growth in the 2015/16 campaign, featuring in the European Challenge Cup and was once again a key member of the Cavaliers squad, scoring six tries before being rewarded with a first-team contract in February 2016.
At the start of this season, Humphreys made his debut at against before scoring on his home bow against Gloucester a week later.
The talented youngster was then handed his first Premiership start and crowned the appearance with a stunning try against , and went on to make it three tries in three consecutive games when he dotted down against .
His early-season performances also saw him pick up the club’s Player of the Month award for September.
He said: “I’m thrilled to have signed with a club that is clearly heading in the right direction.
“I’ve really enjoyed the last couple of seasons alongside a great bunch of players and I continue to learn off some fantastic role models in players such as Chris Pennell and Bryce Heem.
“The best way to improve as a player is through game-time and there’s no better place for opportunities for young players than here at Warriors.”
Worcester Head Coach Carl Hogg added: “Perry is yet another example of a young player who has grasped his opportunity in the early stages of this season.
“He provides great competition across the back three and has grown immensely during his first two seasons at the Club.
“At just 22, Perry still has plenty of potential and we are excited about working with him to help him reach the top of his game.”
