Harlequins confirm signing of Alofa Alofa

Harlequins have confirmed the signing of Samoan international Alofa Alofa.
The news, revealed on Sunday by The Paper, follows the departure of Ollie Lindsay-Hague.
Beginning his career in rugby league with the Roosters, he made the switch to union in 2013. Scoring 13 tries for West Harbour throughout that season, he was called into the Waratahs squad in 2014, scoring on his debut.
He then went on to play for in the and has won three caps for .
He said: “I’m grateful to and John Kingston for giving me this exciting opportunity to play in the top tier of English rugby. Harlequins is an incredibly prestigious club and joining in its 150th year is a real honour.
“I’ve been with the group throughout the pre-season campaign and I can’t wait to pull on the jersey and do the Club and its supporters proud.”
Director of Rugby John Kingston commented: “I am really pleased to have secured the signing of Alofa. He is a dynamic and powerful player with the ability to break the line.
