Bristol have bolstered their front row options with the arrival of international Ryan Bevington.
The 27 year-old prop, who joins from on a two-year deal, has 13 caps for his country following a debut in 2011.
One of the most consistent looseheads in the Pro12, Bevington has made over 100 appearances for Ospreys.
He said: “I’m excited about the opportunity to represent and to play in the top flight of English rugby.
“Having spoken to Andy [Robinson] and Mark [Bakewell], it’s clear that this is an ambitious environment to be involved in and I’m looking forward to being a part of that.
“I’ve got great memories from nine years with the Ospreys and I’d like to thank the supporters, staff and my team-mates for making my time there so enjoyable.”
Director of Rugby Andy Robinson commented: “We’re pleased to welcome Ryan into the squad and looking forward to integrating him into our environment.
“Ryan is in the prime of his career and has played at the highest level, he brings with him the experience and tactical nous required to be successful in the front row.
“Ryan still harbours international ambitions and is hungry to play in the Aviva . We’re confident he will complement what we are trying to achieve here.”
