Jamie Stevenson goes back to London Scottish next season

Wasps have confirmed that -half Jamie Stevenson will return to next year.
The 23-year-old joined this season from the side and has made six appearances so far, including a try in Wasps’ recent win over .
Signing for the Exiles in 2011, he was called up to the A squad to face the Saxons in 2013 and his form saw him secure the Players’ Player of the Year last season.
He said: “I’ve learnt so much from the past year and would like to thank Wasps for what has been an unbelievable opportunity. I’ve really enjoyed my time here and am looking forward to an exciting finish to the season in the Aviva and Europe.
“I am also excited about heading back to the Athletic Ground next season to re-join Scottish. I spoke with Sean Lineen and the club have big ambitions going forward and I look forward to playing my part in those plans.”
Scottish Head Coach Peter Richards added: “Last season he was one of our standout players so it will be great to have Jamie back in our squad.”
“I’m sure he gained plenty of experience from his time with Wasps and he will arrive back here with more to transfer to our side.”
Wasps Director of , commented: “Jamie has done really well for us when he’s had his chances this season. He is understandably keen to get more game-time to continue developing as a player and I’m sure he will enjoy that opportunity when he returns to London Scottish.
