Cian Healy, has been suspended for two weeks following Leinster‘s clash against Toulon in the Champions Cup last Sunday.
The Leinster prop was cited by the match Citing Commissioner for kneeing Toulon hooker Guilhem Guirado but these charges could not be proven.
Healy pleaded not guilty but he admitted having committed an act of foul play against the future French captain. The charge was subsequently amended to ‘Dangerous charging or obstructing or grabbing of an opponent without the ball, including shouldering’.
He was found guilty of that offence at a disciplinary hearing in Paris today and received a two-week ban. He is free to play on December 28.
