Top points scorer wins monthly accolade after unerring performance with boot for Quins
Harlequins fly-half Nick Evans has won the Premiership’s Player of the Month Award, beating Exeter’s Don Armand and Wasps’ Nathan Hughes to the accolade.
The New Zealander tops the points chart with 63 after a faultless month with the kicking tee. Striking 10 kicks out of 10 in Quins’ 28-38 win against Bath at The Rec.
With the help of Evans’ boot, Harlequins find themselves in the Top 4 in the Premiership table on the tail of Saracens and Exeter, and marginally clear of Leicester.
