Sale, Newcastle and Worcester have followed in Wasps‘ footsteps revealing they have not broken the Premiership salary cap.
Premiership Rugby revealed last Thursday that some clubs were under investigation for a potential breach of the £5.5m salary cap in place but an agreement had been reached between the clubs in question and the league’s governing body.
The statement did not name the clubs investigated but Wasps released their own statement on Friday saying they were not investigated.
Rugby fans around the country have urged their clubs to follow suit and today Sale boss Steve Diamond confirmed the Sharks were not involved in the investigations.
