As expected, have opted to alter their midfield for Saturday night’s pivotal World Cup clash against at Twickenham on Saturday.
Sam Burgess takes over from the injured Jonathan Joseph and will wear the No.12 jersey for his second Test start as Brad Barritt shifts to outside centre.
The other notable call by Stuart Lancaster comes from the fly-half berth with picked ahead of who moves to the bench.
Up front, comes in at No.8 in place of Ben Morgan who is still struggling with a knee complaint.
That means James Haskell and Alex Goode are both included in a matchday 23 covering back row and the back three respectively.
England head coach Lancaster said: “We have a lot of respect for the Wales coaching team and their players. They are a high quality side and I am sure it will be some occasion on Saturday evening.
“The support at Twickenham last week was incredible with the crowd really getting behind us. We will need them again this week to lift the players against a tough Wales team.”
Meanwhile, Gareth Davies has been named at scrum-half by as the  scrum-half gets the nod ahead of Lloyd Williams.
The call means there is no room in the match day 23 for Mike Phillips who was recalled following the injury to Rhys Webb while Hallam Amos starts on the right wing instead of Alex Cuthbert.
Chief Tomas Francis starts at tighthead with Scott Baldwin at hooker and Gethin Jenkins at loosehead
Samson Lee is fit enough to sit on the bench but full-back Liam Williams has recovered from his thigh knock and starts in the no.15 jersey.
Dan Lydiate returns to the back row to partner the experienced and Taupe Faletau.
“Saturday is a huge occasion for both teams and for the tournament and we are really looking forward to it,” said Wales head coach Warren Gatland.
“Both sides kicked their tournament off with a bonus-point win but we know we will need to step up at Twickenham on Saturday.”
