HIGHLIGHTS: Bonus-point win for England in RWC opener

A last-gasp try form Billy Vunipola helped England secure what could be a vital 35-11 bonus-point win over Fiji in the opening game of the World Cup at Twickenham.
Stuart Lancaster‘s men had the game won leading 28-11 with the clock going into the red but they kept attacking as they were looking to claim the all-important try bonus-point.
Referee Jaco Peyper had to go to the TMO after Vunipola barged his way over but he was given the all clear and England had what they were looking for.
The hosts got on the scoreboard thanks to a penalty from George Ford before a penalty try on the back of a dominant rolling maul opened a 10-point gap.
Mike Brown made it 15-0 but Fiji eventually got one back through Nemani Nadolo who then exchanged a penalty with Ford to see England lead 18-8 at the break.
It took over 20 minutes in the second half to see another score but it came through the boot of Ben Volavola who reduced the gap only seven points and Fiji hoped of a major upset were still alive.
Owen Farrell gave England some room from the tee before Brown’s second sealed the game. But they had to keep playing and that last effort from Vunipola brought the goods home.
