Dom Day and Tomas Francis have been named by Warren Gatland in Wales squad.
The Bath lock and tighthead are part of the 31-man squad which will be captained by .
Prop Gethin Jenkins, the world’s most capped prop, will head to his fourth tournament and is included alongside Francis and fellow props, Paul James, Aaron Jarvis and Samson Lee.
The surprise call from Gatland comes from hooker as he only picked Ken Owens and Scott Baldwin.
Five second rows have been included, Jake Ball, Luke Charteris, Bradley Davies, Day and Alun Wyn Jones.
Captain Warburton is joined by fellow back-rows Taulupe Faletau, James King, Dan Lydiate and Justin Tipuric.
Fourteen backs make up the 31-man contingent. Gareth Davies, Rhys Webb and Lloyd Williams are the three -halves with and Rhys Priestland the fly-halves.
The three centres are Cory Allen, Jamie Roberts and Scott Williams with the outside backs featuring Hallam Amos, Alex Cuthbert, Leigh Halfpenny, Matthew Morgan, George North and Liam Williams.
“We have ended up going for five second-rows, and really because it is such an attritional position, and as a result probably Kristian (Dacey) has been unlucky to miss out at this stage,” said Gatland.
“Alun Wyn Jones picked up a little bit of a medial strain on the weekend, which is a couple of weeks, Luke Charteris got a bang on the leg, so we have kind of looked at the squad and said that if players pick up knocks we’ve got cover for them.”
