Three debutantes in Scotland XV for Italy clash

Scotland have named three uncapped players in their starting XV to face in Turin on Saturday.
‘s Rory Hughes will makes his first international appearance on the wing and so will hooker Stuart McInally and -born openside John Hardie.
Among the replacements are uncapped tighthead prop WP Nel, who recently qualified through residency, and Edinburgh winger Damien Hoyland.
Three players retain their places from the 28-22 defeat to in Dublin last week, as Sean Lamont lines up on the wing, Richie Vernon at outside centre and Greig Tonks moves from fly-half to full-back.
Completing the backs are Matt Scott at inside centre, Duncan Weir at fly-half and Sam Hidalgo-Clyne at -half.
Packing down with McInally are Glasgow prop duo Gordon Reid and Mike Cusack while captain Grant Gilchrist is joined by Richie Gray in the second row.
Experienced Al Strokosch plays the with Adam Ashe wearing the No.8 jersey.
Head coach Vern Cotter said: “The Irish game was an open, fairly fluid affair for the most part but I think the Italy game will be a tighter battle so we’ll be looking, perhaps, to play a bit differently.
“We know that they put pressure on our tight five, so that unit will be aware that a lot of heat will come their way from scrum and driven lineouts.
“Our whole focus this summer has been on improving. We’re trying to build and construct our and that isn’t based on any emotions other than our desire to move forward.”
